Today’s episode on Facing Your Fears with Host Evangelist Norma Chapman is a reflection on our everyday lives that cause us  to be overwhelmied with issues that we sometimes cannot find a solution to solve without drowning. Being reminded of the biblical story about Jesus and Peter when the twelve Disciples was out on the sea and their ship was in a tremble strom. They was very afraid because the ship was out of control, winds and waves were very high. They looked and saw Jesus walking on the water, in which at first they thought they was seeing  a ghost. One of the Disciple who name Peter asked Jesus can he come where he was, Jesus replied “:come to me Peter”. When Peter step off the ship he was actually walking on water headed in the direction where Jesus was. He took his eyes off Jesus and looked down and realized he to was walking on water, immediately he begin to sink and became afraid, crying out “:help me Jesus”. This is what happen to us when we don’t stay focus and  lose faith in God. Looking every way instead of looking to God who is the author and the finisher of our faith. The Bible tells us to look to the hills whence comes all of our help, Jesus is always standing nearto keep us from falling, from drowning, from go in the wrong direction which can lead to destruction.  Tune in on today’s episode and be encourage in knowing how we should keep our heads above the water and not sink in our troubles, sorrow, fears that can overtake our lives and cause us to give up on our shortcomings, in which we can overcome by giving it to God.
