BUILDING BRIDGES OF CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING…THROUGH THE POWER OF POETRY & PROSE

WILLIAM S. PETERS IS A PULITZER PRIZE NOMINEE 2016, 2019..."Throughout one’s life, we are bound to encounter difficulties, challenges and hopefully some insights in solving some of life’s riddles . . . if we are lucky. I, in my eclectic and eccentric vanity, ignorance or   arrogance, have taken to recording some of these ‘witticisms’ along the way. Other things I have included in this series, The book of krisar … A total of 5 volumes are but observations I have noted to the best of my ability to share with you, the reader, or treasure for my own understanding about my personal journey.  I had the opportunity along with Janet P. Caldwell to attend and participate in The International Poetry Festival held in Kosovo. As representatives of Inner Child, Poetry and the United States of America, there were no gestures of a most gracious hospitality left undone.   I had the honor of showcasing my book, The Vine Keeper at the affair and it was such an humbling experience to be selected from a field of World Class Poets to do so. There were Poets representing their countries from all over the globe. We made some very wonderful bonds of friendship and family with our fellow Poets. I also was very humbled to be named the Inaugural Poet Laureate of the Kosovo International Poetry Festival, where I was awarded the very first Golden Grape Award. He is also a Honored Personal Friend & Mentor...
