Labor is a biblical mandate:  "If a man will not work, don't let him eat."   II Thess. 3:10

The church is not a food pantry above its evangelistic mission!     Taking care of the poor is noble; but the infinitive mass of poverty is beyond the success of the church.  ...Not that we can ignore the needy; but the "calling" on the Church is spiritual.
