Gullibility, that over willingness to believe is on the reverse side of skepticism and unbelief. So says a Bristol University lecturer on the talents of a poet- William Butler Yeats- Poet Laurier during the time when masonry was expanding. Even in those early days we see the groundwork of skepticism in the air; an unorthodox form of socializing grown out of careful observations.  Today, we find that same imperfect framework of Freemasonry has been kept intact, not so the contemporary opinions of brethren. Perceptions has galvanized by us and the ramped up impact of media. Algorithms have quitely been manufactured by faceless interest groups challenging as always for leadership.  How we sort out our gains and losses says a lot about the kind of concern we have for our future selves. When the urgency of anxiety drains us, we are still left questioning what the future holds. Even if we prescribe a life of distraction, we are guessing short term answers will satisfy the short term attention. There, there~it will be alright.. Except we yearn for calm believing it is possible if only they who ever they are, were different.  We will let ourselves be convinced by the nostalgia associated with the idea. How much  time is worth investing, just to learn, just to live a better life that I cant even describe? That lies within you and me. We bring far more to the adventure than we acknowledge even when it seems we are shorting ourselves. Except for the fact I hate those bromides- when we align what we know, what we were born knowing and what we accumulated,  is there an answer still elusive? Conjure a perfect image in your mind of the Order of Freemasonry. Conjure an imagine of the perfect experiences, the beliefs, your beliefs of those beliefs and what have you learned? That masonry exists in a physical as well as metaphysical world, just as all we survey.  What brings it to mind is the question. Your question.
