For many of us, no matter what's happening, we can't and don't allow true happiness and peace to rest on us and in our lives. Satan preys on this weakness and knows that we will never allow ourselves to fully recover from past failures. But the devil is a liar and the father of lies. Forgiving one's own self is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and God.
