Laura Poindexter a native New Yorker (Harlem) worked for (18) yrs. as an Altruistic Community Leader & Social Services Professional within the City of Baltimore. This was an ideal profession based on the fact that she was recovering from pretty much everything. The most extensive recovery period is 29 yrs. and counting.

Her commitment for this field of service could not be denied, as she passionately blazed a trail, making an indelible mark in the field of Human Services Now 48 yrs. old a recently anomaly of events had caused her to once again become dismayed with her existence. Addiction no longer an option she chose to write for her life. Her writings are admittedly inspired by pain, frustration and utter confusion concerning the God of “her” understanding and how he had elected to perfectly orchestrate the various sonatas in her life; but alas, failed to tie them together in symphonic harmony...
