Darius de Haas enjoys a multifaceted career as an award-winning widely acclaimed popular singer and actor. Born and raised in a musical family on Chicago's South Side, known for his soaring voice, he has proven successful as a performer ranging from the Broadway stage to recordings to concert venues throughout the world.

 

BROADWAY: Kiss of the Spider Woman, Rent, Carousel, Marie Christine, The Gershwins’ Fascinating Rhythm, and The Actor's Fund stagings of Dreamgirls and Hair. Other credits include the American premiere of Children of Eden (Papermill Playhouse), Once On This Island (1st National Tour), Saturn Returns (Public Theater), The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin (Playwrights Horizons), I Was Looking at The Ceiling And Then I Saw The Sky (world premiere directed by Peter Sellars), Cry The Beloved Country (Goodman Theater), Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar- Gospel (Alliance Theater) and Twelfth Night (Westport Playhouse). He won the OBIE Award for his performance in Running Man (Music-Theater Group). He is also a concert/recording artist and has toured throughout the USA, Europe and Asia.
