About Stephen "Stix" Josey:

"Is an half Italian and African American Producer. Born to an Italian women born and raised in New York. Stephen grew up in Boston as a young child. At the age of 6 he met a drummer at the Boston Commons, who allowed him to experience playing with the drums. That paved the way for Stephen wanting to become a musician. At the age of 14 he was a drummer on a gospel album. That was his introduction into the industry. Stephen also went on to attend Saddleback Film School. He also taught himself how to play the piano and make his own original music. As a result he has produced, recorded and engineered on over 47 albums. Producers come, producers go and then there are those producers that set the trends and stay the distance. STIX is one such Producer/Actor/Writer and Director that exemplifies the terms of being humble and easy to work with. STIX knows how to make things easy and effective for the numerous Film/TV Executives, Business Executives and Record labels that he has worked with throughout the world over the years. He got his professional Start in Music with Sony Records producing such acts as Mobb Deep, John Legend, Wu-Tang and several others. Stix has now turned to feature films where he has partnered with Michelle D. Mair to form MSJ Productions that specializes in Film & Music. ...
