Comrade Jihad was incarcerated for 23 years as a political prisoner for his involvement as a member of the Black Panther Party for Self -Defense and the Black Liberation Army .He is now the National Chairperson for the Jericho Amnesty Movement ,www.thejerichoamnesty.com. Which is a vanguard organization that supports domestic political Prisoners as well as Prisoners of War .Jericho calls for PP's /POW's freedom and Amnesty from prison .Elder Jihad currently resides in Richmond ,Va with his wife and three children .Where the focus of much of his attention goes into making changes on issues that impact poor and working class communities .Brother Jihad is a community activist ,playwright and health care provider , specifically ,championing health care issues and HIV/AIDS awareness.The Comrade works as a community Case Manager at a free health clinic and gives HIV/STD workshops in schools and prisons ,does HIV testing in jails and prisons as well as case manages HIV + inmates upon their release .Jihad and his wife own their own community theater company -Our Children Productions which produces several original social-political theme orientated performances a year .He has a Master's in Business Administration ,with a concentration in Health Services from Strayer University .
