"THE GIFT OF GIVING"

There are many benefits of giving but this too is a subject that many people need to be taught. Everyone does not have the understanding about the gift of giving. Many people often hold on to their time, talents and money so tightly and they never think about the effects of giving back or paying forward on what God has blessed them with. Imitating Christ and his characteristics puts us in a servant walk, to serve others and not be served. Studying the scriptures defining giving and being educated on how to apply that understanding to our lives will empower us greatly in spiritual walk.  Luke 6:38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back."
