Can writing be a tool for greater consciousness and activism? Can it really be used to wake up ourselves and the world? Megan Walrod shares her vulnerable story of how writing served as her lifeline through death and grief, and took her to the other side of the planet to write a book with adolescent girls growing up in the slums of Uganda.
Megan Walrod, Founder of Live Your Yes, is an award-winning author, copywriter, book and business coach. Over the past decade she's supported hundreds of women entrepreneurs build profitable and purposeful businesses. She's supported clients in writing sales pages that generated 6 and 7 figures; books and chapters for compilation books (one of those books won multiple awards); and stories that touch the lives of thousands.
Recently, she co-authored a book with adolescent girls entitled, We Have Something To Say: True Stories From Adolescent Girls Growing Up In The Slums Of Kampala.
