Former Carmelite nun Kimberly Braun pulls back the veil on her rich experience of self and Spirit as she shares her journey of following the call of compassion and love. It led her to more than ten years in religious community, and then called her back into the world as a minister, author, meditation teacher, and speaker. Kimberly Braun lived for more than ten years immersed in silence as a Carmelite nun. In 2001 she left the monastery. Kimberly completed her Masters in theology in 2001 with a concentration on the adult spiritual journey and ordination as a minister . She enjoys officiating ritual, offering inspiring keynotes, teaching Essence Meditation classes, writing articles and leading retreats and workshops, including yearly stints as meditation faculty at Omega Institute in New York. Kimberly’s mission is to inspire others to live from their own YES found within. She is the author of Love Calls: Insights of a Former Carmelite Nun.
