We read the history of great nations, Rome, Greece, and the Bible’s Babylon and Nineveh. We read how those great nations rose to their greatness, enjoyed great wealth and plenty of freedom. At the height of their prosperity or achievements they started to die, fall down. Often, it was no enemy army that came in and attacked them. They defeated themselves. They just let go of everything and fell down.
