Seems like the fun never ends around here, and we certain illustrate that in this weeks episode. We've had some pretty startling news break this week - Facebook's new "User-Reputation Score" has been exposed. For people unfamiliar with this concept: Imagine being scored in some way, either positively or negatively, due to your internet activity.

This type of Orwellian control style system is the latest reaction from Big Tech as they try to combat "fake news". On the heels of these developments, in a weird turn of events, Donald Trump has come out in advocacy of fake news over censorship, declaring we won't have censorship. Although many people are aware of the political theater taking place, it doesn't make the looming threat on free speech and open communications any less real.

America is undergoing a radical shift, not only in political views, but also ideological standpoints, and even spiritual orientation. Is this what globalization looks like? Is this what the world online wants the world offline to portray - a reality void of authenticity, being swapped out for a culture of relevancy? Certainly, just as statues are being torn down, as are the beliefs which built them.
