This past week, through prayer, fasting, and obedience to what the Holy Spirit had instructed me to do, I recognized something that I hadn't paid attention to before. I have been arrested by purpose! How often has an opportunity to function in purpose escaped you because of timing or distractions? I was asking myself as well, and the truth is - I've been guilty more than a few times.
Eccl 9:10-11, " Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. I returned and saw under the sun that— The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all." Time and chance, happen to them all, which means that even in the face of adversity - you've got to be ready to step up and answer the call of purpose!
2 Timothy 2:10-13 reads, " Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. "
When you've come to a place of understanding that the trials and tribulations you endure for the sake of purpose are necessary, you've also stepped into a place of maturity with God. Join us this evening for this candid conversation and be Empowered! Dial in at 323-927-3014 or use the attached link.
