We Must Be Aware

This weeks broadcast will focus on being aware of the devices of the enemy and avoiding them. Romans 16:17-18 reads, “I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.” ESV 

If we desire the blessings of the Lord, we must adhere to the law! So, what’s hindered us? Could it be that we are not operating with a sound mind, being tossed and driven by every wind and doctrine? 2 Timothy 4:3 reads, “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,” ESV

Are we reading and studying the Word of God as instructed in 2 Timothy 2:15, “ Study to show tyself approves unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” ESV or not?  Having a sound mind is a disciplined and trained place, a place that each of us should desire.
