Did you know that along with several different causes, October is Domestic Violence Awareness month?  This month we focus on the how's, why's, and ways to prevent the abuse that  men, women and children face. 

Deuteronomy 31:6 reads, "Be  strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."  This scripture speaks to me this morning, with hopes to empower those who are victims to trust God enough to step away from the situation.

I know that some may say that, "it's not that easy!", and trust me I fully understand but there comes a point when enough is enough and you value yourself more than valuing "stuff".
