The Necessity of Hamartiology (Doctrine of Sin) in Spiritual Counseling

This episode of A Sound Heart explores the necessity of an appropriate understanding of hamartiology if one is to be fully aware of the human condition.  Denial of or arguments against the reality of sin means a holding to a prejudiced view of human nature.  One may postulate a positive view of the human condition but such a position is untenable.  A careful reading of history will show the shallowness of such a position.  God entered into the cosmos in the person of Jesus in order to rescue humankind from this present darkness.
