In the Scriptures, the Spirit of God is always in the midst of bringing things to life. From the Spirit brooding over the dark chaos at creation, to the breath of God bringing a lump of clay to life as a human being, to the vision of dry bones being called to life again by the Spirit-led prophet, to the gifts given to the disciples at Pentecost, the Bible often talks about the Spirit wherever people and creation are coming alive. In our lives, that includes things like the gifts, skills, and abiltities that are developed for the sake of others. That includes those unexpected and amazing moments when we sense the presence of God in ways that go beyond our expectations. And it includes ordinary moments we might not even recognize as holy at first, where the Spirit is moving behind the scenes in our routine actions and choices. Join us in this final episode of our series on "What Gives Life" this Eastertide, as pastors Sarah, Erica, and Steve explore the work of the Spirit throughout history and in our lives now.
