After having to find ways to stay connected without being in the same room together during the initial wave of the COVID pandemic in 2020, many churchgoers rediscovered their appreciation for being together in community. And if we've learned anything from that experience, hopefully it at least includes the call not to take for granted our opportunities to be together as God's people. There's a reason, after all, that the writer of Hebrews advises his readers "not to forsake assembling together"--it brings us to life. But there's more to it than just physical proximity inside the same four walls, isn't there? Life-giving community is about more than just standing still in the same room--it's about shared activity, whether song and prayer, service or conversation, or other reasons that just can't be communicated the same way through screens, radios, video recordings, or the printed word. So... what is it about community that brings us to life? That's the conversation we're exploring in this episode of Crazy Faith Talk, as pastors Erica, Sarah, and Steve gather around the microphone today.
