In a culture where being "busy" for the sake of being busy is often lauded as a virtue, sometimes people can feel guilty about taking time for themselves, or we think that "self-care" is about going away on a retreat to a distant location, or getting an expensive massage, or splurging on something decadent for yourself.  But sometimes caring for ourselves happens right in the thick of everyday life, and it is clear that caring for ourselves is a way of being fully available to then care for others without being burned out.  Whether it's unpacking from a move, establishing a weekly routine, attending to the paying of bills and maintaining of our houses, there are all sorts of ways that each of us brings order out of chaos and beauty out of messiness around us.  And that's self-care, too.  In this episode, pastors Erica, Sarah, and Steve take a look at ways they find in the course of ordinary life to bring order to the chaos in everyday life to preserve our sanity and recharge our batteries.  Join us for this week's conversation.
