Pastors Erica, Sarah, and Steve are back indulging their pop-culture sensibilities with a new question: Where do movies, books, or TV shows show us negative examples of faith that we can learn from?  Sometimes our own blind spots keep us from seeing ways that we as church folk can be hypocritical, misguided, or un-Christ-like, and we need someone with a different perspective to help us see what we wouldn't have recognized about ourselves on our own.  And much like Jesus often used stories and parables to get the religious hypocrities of his day to see the ways they had strayed from God's vision of justice and mercy, we need stories that can get under our skin and force us to see things from a different angle sometimes.  So in today's episode, Pastor Sarah takes us through an early 2000s movie, "Saved!" to look at how Christianity can sometimes become a caricature of itself, and how each of our faith journeys can grow over time to a new kind of maturity, humility, and depth.  Join us for the conversation on this week's new episode of "Crazy Faith Talk"!
