In a time when Christians are divided into countless traditions, denominations, subgroups, and styles, there are still a handful of things that are universally common across the branches of the Christian family tree.  One of those things we hold in common are the words we call "the Lord's Prayer," a collection of words that the Gospels say go back to Jesus himself.  But even though many Christians--and even many who have never been to a church before--have some familarity with the Lord's Prayer, we can often speak the words by rote without any real thought about what we are saying, or what these words mean.  In a new series, pastors Erica and Steve begin to explore these words--are they meant as a script to be recited?  Are they meant to be a template?  An example?  And what kind of view of the world will emerge for us as we let Jesus' words shape our hearts and our minds?  What kind of relationship to God does Jesus have in mind for us, and what does that mean for how we are related to others around us?  Join us for a conversation to hear the Lord's Prayer again with new ears, so that we can see the world through Jesus' eyes.
