StatusSexy.com, a program of UNIFIED HIV Health and Beyond, started as a place to increase testing and decrease the stigma around HIV for young men. The site is a place to get the facts on HIV and for individuals to express themselves as the generation that has only known the world with HIV/AIDS as part of it.
Akilah Benton, is a public health professional with extensive experience in practical and research-based work with persons living with HIV, both domestically and abroad. Early on, she developed a passion for understanding cultural differences in the context of health care. While pursuing her master’s degree in Florida, she had an opportunity to work with a research study that adapted the renowned HIV behavioral health intervention, Healthy Relationships.  She currently serves as Interim Vice President of Community Research and Innovation of UNIFIED HIV Health and Beyond. Ka’Juan D. Hill is a Community Outreach Specialist at UNIFIED-HIV Health and Beyond. He uses his passion for public speaking and HIV to develop innovative sex-positive outreach strategies to reach communities of color. Using social media as a tool he has built a platform amongst the community reaching people in large numbers speaking on the topics of safe sex and risk reduction, 

StatusSexy.com believes that there is nothing sexier than confidence; confidence in yourself, in your partners and in the bedroom. The only way to get that confidence is to know your HIV status. Whether you're negative or positive knowing your status is always sexy when you know it.
