1. They did what was not commanded
2. They offered profane fire - they made it themselves - not the fire of the Altar (Numbers 3:4).
3. Offered incense in the wrong place at the wrong time.
4. They failed to sanctify them self before God and the congregation.
5. They try to carry out sacred services in a drunken state.
