Lord, you are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.
in Christianity
John 13:6-17
9 “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”
10 Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.”
11 For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.
12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them.
13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.
16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

Benefits of Daily Devotions
in Christianity
We frequently receive encouragement to engage in daily devotions during our personal time; however, the underlying rationale behind the significance of this practice in fostering a profound relationship with the Lord is often not adequately communicated. Moreover, the tangible personal benefits that can be derived from the consistent pursuit of daily devotions remain inadequately expounded upon, leading to a prevalent neglect of this crucial spiritual discipline. In the forthcoming broadcast, Reverend Daniel Spencer endeavors to enlighten our audience on the inherent personal advantages of embracing daily devotions, emphasizing their consequential impact not only on individual spiritual growth but also on the collective well-being of the local Church.

Changing our culture by steadfastness in God.
in Christianity
I Corinthians 15:58 reads: Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Reading from Psallms 78 the verse 9 began to speak to me. Verse 9 ready, The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carring bows, turned back in the day of battle. We are in a day of battle. The forces of evil and darkness are trying to prevail against the forces of God and of good. Instead of being steadfast in the faith and in their faithfulness to God they were stubborn and rebellious,a generation that set not their heard aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God. Look at what happened: they turned back.

God Has the Final Say
in Christianity
God the Father has written our book of life. His purpose and plan for us unfold each day. Every chapter in our life's earthly journey is penned by Him. We can stand on God's Word and plug into the power or shrink because of a lack of knowledge or disbelief. We must speak the Word of God to change the condition or circumstances in our hearts, mind, and body.
Isaiah 55:11 (NIV) says, "So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." God's Word will do what it says it will do!
Join us Tuesday, November 28, at 3:30 PM (PT) as we discuss the application of the Word of God. Call in to speak with the host (319) 527-6720.
