Depositions and subpoenas: do you need an attorney when testifying?

People often think about being involved in litigation as a plaintiff or a defendant. But many times people are involved in the ligation process who are not an actual party to the case. Witnesses, deponents and expert often are called to testify at a trial without being a part of the case. But do they need attorneys when they testify? We will review why it’s a good idea to be represented by an attorney and the problems that may arise when testimony is given before the court.
