On this episode of "Let's Talk Fort Worth" we will look at the fact TEP Barnett (formerly Chesapeake) has a drilling site so close to some homes in the Stop Six community that one homeowner can taste the dirt and fumes coming from the drilling site at 3020 Village Creek Road. This community has stated drilling goes on all night, some residents have become ill, black smoke was seen coming from the site in February of this year, large trucks are destroying their streets, the drilling is causing pollution, homes have suffered foundation issues, and most have not seen a royalty check in over fifteen years. Is it the city of Fort Worth's responsibility to step in and have these leases renegotiated seeing the leases will be binding as long as these wells are active. However, the residents of this community are possibly looking a serious health issues in the future but will have little to no compensation for a lease agreement they didn't ask for. The guests will be Pastor Kyev Tatum and Marvin Sutton.
