Global health experts have declared the "ebola" epidemic ravaging West Africa an international health emergency that requires a coordinated global approach. Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone are battling the ebola virus which has also spread to Nigeria.
There are two known cases of the ebola virus in the United States. Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol, both American health care workers were brought from Liberia last week to Emory Univeristy Hospital in Atlanta for treatment.
