And just like that we are into December, the last month of 2024. So we send greetings to all the people who celebrate birthdays anniversaries and other cultural observances in December. It is usually a big celebration all around the world especially since most people celebrated Christmas or some other cultural holiday during this time. The Carnival festivities in St. Kitts, Montserrat and St. Croix must be underway. And we hope to celebrate it all with you right here on the Saturday Morning Entertainment Show. But as is the usual we will take time out for a conversation. So, Let's Talk.

Law Enforcement agencies have launched a massive manhunt in search of a man who is suspected of fatally shooting the CEO of United Health Care. This is a sad but familiar story. No motive for the shooting has been identified but speculation is that the suspect is a person who is disgruntled about the way United or other insurance companies operate. Of course, most of us have our share of woes with insurance companies. Whether it's coverage for our homes, cars or health we feel that insurance companies abuse and exploit us. But is this a reasonable way of handling the matter? The insurance industry is massive, and insurance companies are established for profit so exploitation is the norm. But would the shooting of the CEO change anything? Rumour on the street is that the CEO received a 10 Million dollar bonus, while there may be numerous claims which United has refused to settle or compensate its clients. Should this resort to shooting the CEO.?  The tactics of insurance companies have also led to the loss of many lives. How do we protect ourselves from the abusive practices of Banks and Insurance Companies? Shouldn't our duly elected governments be protecting us? Come on in. Join the Conversation or tell us what you want to talk about. We are always happy to hear from you.
