Barry D. McCollough, also known as Baba Ofundi, is a master astrologer with more than 40 years experience. His lifelong fascination with astrology began as a child helping in his parents’ garden. They used an Old McDonald’s Almanac to guide their planting, and Barry began reading the almanac and its breakdown on the astrological signs. By the time he was in high school, he was doing astrology chart readings for family, friends, and classmates and he has never stopped.

Barry earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Brown University and his Master of Arts degree in Communication at Stanford University. He taught English on the college and university level for many years before retiring.

Barry has been initiated as a Priest of Oshun in the Yoruba Orisha religion. In that religion, his name, Ofundi, means one who speaks the truth of Orunmila, the Witness to Creation. Barry currently lives in the suburbs of Washington DC.
