On this day, one day before the birthday of Frederick Douglass, Max and Yusuf are joined by ASNN leadership member Savannah Eldrige.

Savannah Eldrige is a registered nurse and founder of Be Frank 4 Justice. Formed to help ensure access to justice, after realizing obstacles while assisting her brother Frank appeal the egregious life sentence that he received under the outdated habitual offender statute. Today the org serves to support incarcerated individuals and their families through community engagement and education.

In 2020, she formed the Coalition to Abolish Slavery-Texas and joined the Abolish Slavery National Network as Co-Director of State Operations. She is actively involved in various organizations and campaigns to improve outcomes for incarcerated individuals across the state of Texas.

As always, we'll be turning it up all the way with amazing musical mixes and audio clips. Then bringing the ancestors voices back to life for a new generation.
